Everyone loves hollandaise FACT. Not everyone finds it easy to make FACT. So here is what has to be the easiest hollandaise recipe ever! It's also dairy and egg free!
All you need is a nice ripe avocado and a few other ingredients which you always have in the cupboard.
Ingredients: Serves 2, prep time 5 minutes max
1 ripe Avoacdo
180ml hot water not long boiled
Juice of 1 lemon
60ml veg oil or other i.e canola
Salt and black pepper to taste
. Open the avocado and remove the stone and skin then roughly chop up.
. For best results use a smoothie maker or blender. Add all ingredients to the smoothie maker and season well.
. Blend for 30 seconds until all ingredients have emulsified together and hollandaise is nice and smooth. That's it all done you simply can't mess this one up and it takes no time at all to make.
. This is great over poached eggs but also great as a dip or with grilled vegetables.
